Gardaí in County Kildare are investigating the theft of a vehicle in Naas.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this incident, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí are investigating an unauthorised taking of a vehicle that occurred in Harbour View, Naas, County Kildare on October 3, 2025 between the hours of 5pm and 10.30pm."

According to the spokesperson, the investigation into this matter remains ongoing.

In addition, Garda Maureen Nerney, who appeared on KFM yesterday (October 8 last) said that the stolen vehicle, which is a black Renault Scenic Hatch car with an '08-MO' registration plate, was later recovered at a nearby location on Monday, October 6 last.

However, she also emphasised that anyone who has any information in relation to this theft can still contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300.
