Cllr Bill Clear has hit out at "cowards" who smashed the front window of his home in Naas.

The independent politician, who ran in Kildare North the General Election, said he has reported the incident to the gardaí.

Cllr Clear received 2,906 First Preferences or 5.10% of the vote. He ended up with 5,458 votes after all transfers were divided.
He took to social media today to reveal that his front window was broken by a rock.
He said: "Last night some thugs threw a rock in our front window. Cowards the lot of you.
"Guards investigating and have a few people in mind."
He added: "You have to think is it all worth it sometimes."
