The death has occurred of

Louisa (Lou) MacHugh
(née Kearney)

Journey's End, Graigues, Robertstown, Kildare

Lou passed away (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family at Naas Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Michael and daughter Sorcha. She will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family: sons Lorcan and Ailín, sister Angela, brothers John and Richard, sister-in-law Nuala, daughter-in-law Irene, grandchildren Lachlan and Tiernan, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lou will repose at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry this Friday from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary at 7pm. Her Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 12 noon in The Church of the Holy Trinity, Derrinturn followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Highfield Park, Kilcock, Kildare

Peacefully, with his children by his side, in the care of nurses and staff, at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. In his 93rd year, Harry, husband of the late Esther (Essie) and dear father of Catherine, Paddy, Jim, Mary and Noel. Deeply regretted by his loving family, son-in-law Peter, daughter-in-law Edel, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at William Ryan & Son's Funeral Home, Church St., Kilcock on Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday to St. Coca's Church, Kilcock arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Daisy (Margaret) Connell
(née McDonald)

Whitehouse, Suncroft, Kildare

Peacefully, at Naas hospital, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Joe and sister of the late Kitty, Paddy, Peter, Liam and Fay.
Deeply and sadly missed by her loving daughters Mary, Anne, Evelyn, Deirdre and Caroline, sons in law Martin, John, Liam, Declan and Liam, her 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, loving sister Nancy, nieces and nephews, cousins, sisters in law, brother in law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Daisy will repose at McWey’s Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town on Wednesday, 4th December, from 4pm until the conclusion of prayers at 7pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors from her family home on Thursday morning to arrive at St. Ita’s Church, Kilmead, Co. Kildare for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Reposing at his residence (R14 EK68) on Wednesday afternoon (December 4th) from 2pm to 8pm and on Thursday afternoon from 2pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. The death has occurred of Myra Grieve (née Gillen) formerly of Clonee, Dublin and Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. Myra passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on December 3rd 2024, in the care of TLC Nursing Home, Maynooth. Beloved wife of Brian for over 60 years and loving mother of Cathy, Seamus, Caroline, Maria, Mairead, Bernie,Dympna and the late Baby Brian (R.I.P.). She will be sadly missed by her devoted husband, loving children, daughter-in-law Martina, sons-in-law Gerry, Eamonn, Martin and Ray, her adored grandchildren Brian, Rebecca, Hannah, Natasha, Megan, Emer, Mia, Oran, Eamonn, Hayley, Zach, Dylan, Molly, Alex and Bradley and great-granddaughter Cora, her brother Danny and her sister Mena and all those who knew her. To know Myra was to love her.

Reposing at Her daughter Caroline's residence in Carbury, Co. Kildare (W91 H52P) on Wednesday (December 4th) from 4-8pm. Removal on Thursday (December 5th) at 1pm to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Straffan for 2pm funeral mass, followed by burial in Laraghbryan Cemetery, Maynooth.


The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of TLC Nursing Home, Maynooth for their kind and loving care of Myra.
