A robbery incident which occurred in Donadea has prompted a garda investigation.

Garda Sean O'Mahony of Athy discussed the incident during his appearance on KFM earlier today.

He said that on Thursday, August 1 last, an incident of robbery took place in the Lower Hodgestown region of Donadea.

Gda O'Mahony noted that the suspects involved in this incident appeared to have exited a car with a partial '162-W' registration plate.

He concluded by calling on anyone with information about the robbery to contact Naas Garda Station on (045) 884 300.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about the incident, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí received a report of an incident of robbery that occurred at approximately 12.45pm on August 1, 2024 in North Kildare.

"No injuries were reported."

The spokesperson added: "Investigations are ongoing."
