RIP to the late Ann Byrne (née Coffey) and David (Dave) Smyth.

The death has occurred of Ann Byrne (née Coffey)

Coolane, Castledermot, Kildare / Ballinabranna, Carlow.

Predeceased by her loving husband Peter, brother Paddy, sisters Pauline, Jenny and Lilly

Ann will be sadly missed by her son Philip,daughter Paula, daughter-in-law Angela and son-in-law Leon, Her adored grandchildren Eliana, Colin, Kal-EL and Mon-EL, sisters Molly,Josie and Mary,brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews , extended family and a large circle of friends and lifelong friends John and Betty O'Neill.

May Ann Rest in Peace.

Together with Ann's Ashes, the family will gather at Dunne's Funeral Home, Mill Road, Castledermot (Eircode R14 X317) on Sunday, July 28, at 5pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm.

Funeral Mass will take place at St Fintan's Church, Ballinabranna at 11am on Monday, July 29.

Followed by Internment of Ashes in Levitstown Cemetery (Eircode R93 WT35) approximately arrive at 1.30pm.

Lakelands, Naas, Kildare / The Main Guard, Clonmel, Tipperary / Tullamore, Offaly.

July 17, 2024, passed away peacefully after a short illness borne with courage and dignity, surrounded by his loving family, in the tender care of the exceptional staff at St Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh.

Darling husband and best friend of Mary and dearest father of David, Rebecca, Brian and Adrian; Dave will be forever loved and missed by his loving wife, daughter, sons, his adored grandchildren Fionn, Salomòn, Daisy, Ruby, Zack, Izzi and Dáithí, his loving sisters Anne and Maureen, son-in-law Carlos, daughters-in-law Julie and Bróna, brothers-in-law Noel, Terry and Tom, sister-in-law Margaret, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of lifelong friends.

Reposing at his home on Friday from 4pm to 8pm with Prayers at 6.30pm.

Removal on Saturday to the Church of Our Lady and St David, Naas arriving for 10am Mass.

Funeral immediately afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium.

The family would appreciate, in lieu of any flowers, a donation to The Friends of St Brigid’s Hospice in The Curragh.
