A developer is seeking planning permission for a major retail development in Kildare.

Naas South Developments Ltd has submitted a planning application to Kildare County Council seeking permission for an industrial style building consisting of 19 units as well as a café and restaurant at Jigginstown, Naas.

The application also seeks permission for car parking spaces, access roads, two site accesses off the existing spur road, outfall drains, landscaping and all associated site development works.

Additionally, planning permission is sought for a single storey café as well as a single storey restaurant/diner.

The site is currently zoned for Industry and Warehousing as part of the Naas Town Local Area.

A decision on the application is expected on September 1, 2024.
