Gardaí in North Kildare investigating criminal damage of premises located on Main Street of Maynooth

An Garda Síochána (AGS) is investigating an incident of criminal damage of a premises located on Main Street of Maynooth.

The matter was discussed on KFM on the morning of Wednesday, June 12 last by Garda Aidan McGuane.

He said that on Monday, June 10 last, at around 9.50pm, two people reportedly sprayed graffiti on the front of an office located on the Main Street of Maynooth.

They then proceeded to flee the scene on a motorbike and headed in the direction of Maynooth town centre.

"CCTV is being examined by gardaí in relation to this incident," he added.

Gda McGuane concluded by saying that anyone with information in relation to this incident can contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.

Commenting on the matter, a spokesperson for AGS told the Leinster Leader: "Gardaí received report of an incident of criminal damage that occurred at a premises on the Dublin Road in Maynooth, County Kildare at approximately 9.50pm on June 10, 2024."

"Investigations are ongoing at this time."
