It looks likely that the three sitting councillors in Leixlip will retain their seats.
According to the tally, Joe Neville (FG) and Nuala Killeen (Lab) will be elected on the first count. Cllr Bernard Caldwell also polled strongly.
The Leixlip count is due to take place tomorrow.
There are three seats in Leixlip.
