Broken wrist

There is increasing concern over the future of Naas Courthouse

Naas Courthouse

A woman was struck with a coffee machine, it was claimed at Naas District Court.

Before the court was Mario Balaskovic, 36, whose address was given as 54 Aylmer Park, Naas, for an alleged breach of the Non Fatal Offences Against the Person Act.

Sgt Dave Hanrahan said that on January 11, 2022 the injured party returned to rented accommodation at 54 Aylmer Park.

She met a flatmate, a row ensued and she was pushed to the ground and struck with a coffee machine.

The court was told that the incident resulted in a broken wrist.

The case was sent forward for trial at Naas Circuit Court by Judge Desmond Zaidan, who told the defendant that if an alibi forms part of his defence he must provide details of this to the prosecuting authorities.
