KILDARE: Playground needed for Ballymore

Traffic issues in Ballymore to be probed by Kildare County Council

Local councillor Evie Sammon has asked Kildare County Council to confirm money is  available for a playground in Ballymore Eustace.

In February 2021 it was reported that a  feasibility study was to take place to establish whether a playground is a realistic proposal for Ballymore Eustace.

According to KCC, there was no site suitable for a playground in Ballymore Eustace at that tine  and “until one can be identified and acquired proposals for a playground cannot be  progressed.”

However Cllr Sammon said a site is available to the community, but the study is needed to establish if money can be made available to create the playground.
