Deaths in Kildare - Friday, March 30, 2018

Seán Francis Grealy – Knightsbridge, Trim, Meath / Glencalry, Mayo / Rathcoffey

Peacefully at his residence, March 27 2018. Predeceased by his sister Áine. Sadly regretted by his daughters Muireann and Blinne, brothers Micheál and Séamus, sister Cáit (Crilly), nephews and nieces, relatives, and many friends around the world. Reposing at Knightsbridge Nursing Home, Longwood Road, Trim, on Holy Thursday and Good Friday (March 30). Reposing at Heffernan's Funeral Home, High Street, Trim, on Easter Monday (April 2) from 10 am to 11am followed by removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Rathcoffey, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Mainham Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Apostleship of the Sea (Stella Maris) or the Ankylosing Spondylitis Association of Ireland.

 

Joseph Leigh – Donaghmede, Dublin / Moone

March 29 2018 peacefully at his home, Joseph, beloved husband of May. Very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters Helen and Clare, son Brian, son-in-law Eddie, daughter-in-law Sharon, grandchildren Jaimie, Sam and Ross, great-granddaughter Bella Mae, brother, sister and extended family. Reposing on Monday (April 2) at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Tuesday (April 3) to Holy Trinity Church, Donaghmede arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.

 

Donie O'Brien – The Oaks, Newbridge

March 28 2018, (peacefully) at Tallaght Hospital after a brief illness. Dearly loved husband of Rosario, loving father of Ursula and Donal. Sadly missed by his loving wife and children, son-in-law Niall, daughter-in-law Linda, his beloved grandchildren Molly, Donal, Amy, Daithí, Ferdia, Senan (and baby Fiachra), sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Anderson and Leahy’s Funeral Home, Henry St., Newbridge on Monday, April 2, from 4pm with Removal at 5.30pm to arrive at St. Conleth’s Parish Church, Newbridge for 6pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Tuesday morning, April 3rd followed by burial afterwards in St. Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.

 

Patrick (Paddy) O'Sullivan – 1226 Timolin, Ballitore, Athy

Reposing at his residence from 2pm on Sunday afternoon with rosary at 8pm. Removal by Rigneys Funeral Directors on Monday evening (April 2) at 6.15pm to arrive at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Moone for 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning (April 3) at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Friends of Naas Hospital.
