Plans granted for apartment development in this Kildare region

A €910k apartment development has been granted planning permission for Nurney, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), six new apartments are to be constructed at The Village Green, Nurney, Co Kildare.

CIS notes that application number 2560692 was approved on March 26 2026, having been submitted to Kildare County Council on June 21 2025.

The development consists of the following:

• retention permission for correction of alterations to previous pl. ref. no. 08/2085 including exclusion of first floor office units

• Permission for the construction of a first floor extension over existing service station to accommodate a number of residential units.

The development will include;

• 6 x 1 bedroom apartments and 1 x 2 bedroom apartment

• Associated open space, car-parking, bicycle parking and bin storage

• External first floor access via new stairs

• Landscaping and all associated site development works

The architect for the development is Daly Hudson Building Surveying and Architecture.
