Deaths in Kildare - March 8, 2018

Seamus Byrne – Knockerin Lower, Blessington, Wicklow / Castledermot

March 6 2018. In the loving care of the staff of T.L.C. Care, Citywest. Husband of the late Josie and father of Peter, Tony, Maureen, Bernie, Martin, Mary and Paula. Will be dearly missed by his family, sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home on Friday February 9. Removal on Saturday morning February 10 to the Church of Our Lady, Blessington arriving for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Burgage Cemetery.

 

Margaret (Peg) Connolly (née Pollard) – 2 Woodview, Monasterevin

March 7 2018, Peacefully in the loving care of the management and staff of Lourdesville Nursing Home Kildare. Predeceased by her husband John (Johnie). Sadly missed by her loving family daughter Harriet,sons Stephen, John and Martin, sisters Betty and Alice, brother Joe, son-in-law Michael, daughters-in-law Bernadette, Teresa and Shauna,brother-in-law Harvey, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, and friends. Reposing at her home on Thursday (February 8) from 2pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday (February 9) at 11:30am arriving SS Peter and Paul's Church Monasterevin for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Evin's Cemetery Monasterevin.

 

Sr Anne Coyle – Moore Abbey, Monasterevin

March 1 2018, Sister of Charity of Jesus and Mary. Sadly missed by her loving family, her two sisters Carmel and Peggy, her extended family, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews in Ireland, England and America and by her community and staff in Ros Glas Convent, Moore Abbey. Removal to the convent chapel, Moore Abbey, on Friday, March 9, with prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, March 10, at 11am with burial afterwards in St Evin's Cemetery.

 

Mary Bridget McGarr (née Ennis) – Tramore, Waterford / Ardclough

March 7, 2018, after a short illness, Mary Bridget; Sadly missed by her children, grandsons, family and friends. Reposing at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, Church Lane, Naas, on Thursday (February 8) from 4.00pm with prayers at 5.00pm. Removal on Thursday to St. Brigid’s Church, Kill, arriving at 6.30pm. Funeral on Friday (February 9) after 10.00am Mass to St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

 

Kathleen Moran (née Carter) – Coill Dubh / Robertstown

March 6 2018, peacefully at Naas Hospital, beloved wife of the late Harry, deeply regretted by her loving sons Francis and Brendan, daughter Kathryn, daughters-in-law Christina and Babs, son-in-law Shaun, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Reillys Funeral Home, Prosperous from Thursday (March 8) at 12 noon, followed by removal at 5.30pm to arrive at Christ the King Church, Cooleragh at 6pm. Funeral Mass Friday (February 9) at 11am followed by burial in Allen Cemetery.

 

Mary Ward (née Tallon) – Piercetown, Kilcock, Meath / Summerhill, Meath / Kilcock

March 5 2018, Peacefully, after a long illness at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Mary loving wife of Pat and dear mother of Adam & Laura. Loving daughter of Annie and the late Leo, daughter-in-law of Carmel and late Jimmy. Deeply regretted by her family, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her home in Piercetown (W23 TOXD) on Thursday (February 9) from 3pm until Rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (February 9)  at 12 noon in the Church of the Assumption, Coole, Summerhill followed by burial in Gallow Cemetery, Kilcock. Family Flowers only Please
