RIP: Tributes paid to Kildare woman remembered as 'a kind lady with a wonderful spirit'

Tributes have been paid to “a kind lady with a wonderful spirit” from Celbridge, Co Kildare.

Agnieszka Bemowska (née Janicka) (Celbridge and formerly of Poland) passed peacefully on April 14 2026, at the Mater Hospital.

Agnieszka is the beloved wife of Grzegorz and dear mother of Mateusz; she is sadly missed by her loving husband, son, father-in-law Antoni, brother-in-law Kamil, sister-in-law Daria, nephew Antoni, niece Zuzanna, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Agnieszka reposed on Wednesday, April 15 2026 from 4pm to 7pm at the Ramon Massey & Son Funeral Home, Thornhill, Maynooth Road, Celbridge, W23 D1K5, (beside McMahon’s Bar).

The removal took place on Thursday, April 16 to Newlands Cross Crematorium arriving for 10am Service.

No flowers please.

Tributes paid on RIP.ie include the following: “My heartfelt sympathy to Grezegorz and Mateusz and your family on the passing of Agnieszka. Such a kind lady with a wonderful spirit. May she rest in peace.”

And: “Deepest sympathy to all of Agnieszka's family and friends. May she rest in peace. RIP.”

While another mourner wrote: “I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Agnieszka. She was such a warm and kind lady. My thoughts are with Grzegorz, Mateusz and extended family and friends.”

And another added: “Deepest sympathy Grezegorz Mateusz and extended families of Agnieszka may she rest in peace.”
