RIP: Tributes paid to "lovely lady" from Kildare who passed this week

The late Phil Maguire McConnell

Tributes have been paid to a “lovely lady” from Kildare who passed this week.

Phil Maguire McConnell, Hillview, Clane, Kildare / Donadea, Kildare passed peacefully at her residence on March 11 last, surrounded by her loving family.

Phil is predeceased by her twin brother Paud, deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughter Lisa, Phil's partner Paddy, sister-in-law Kay, nieces Alicia, Jacinta and Linda, son-in-law Tom, cherished grandchildren Talia, Ben and Luka, neighbours and friends.

May Phil Rest In Peace

Phil will be reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Woods House, Clane (W91YPX4) on Friday (Mar. 13) from 6pm - 8pm.

The removal will take place from her residence on Saturday (Mar. 14) at approx. 11:30am to arrive at St. Benignus' Church, Staplestown for 12pm Funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Benignus' Cemetery, Staplestown.

House Strictly Private at all times.

Tributes paid to Phil on RIP.ie this week include the following: “Sincere Sympathy to Lisa, her partner Paddy and all the McGuire family on the sad passing of Phil. Great memories and laughs we had when doing her hair, a lovely lady. May her gentle soul rest in peace.”

And: “My sincere condolences to the Maguire family on the loss of Phil. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.”

While another mourner wrote: “Deepest sympathy to Paddy and Lisa and extended family on the sad passing of Phil. May her gentle soul rest in peace.”

And another added: “Sincere sympathies Lisa, Talia, Ben and Luka. Your Grandmother thought the world of you and your Mum. Love knows no bounds and your Grandmother will guide and protect you from Heaven. Rest in peace.”
