The death has occurred of Merlene Davies (née McLoughlin), Kilcock, Kildare / Churchtown, Dublin.

Davies, (née McLoughlin), Merlene, Kilcock, Co. Kildare and late of Churchtown, Dublin 14, February 14 2026, unexpectedly at home.

Dearly missed by her loving daughters Mckayla and Eabha and their father Manfred, parents Mervyn and Linette, siblings, extended family and many good friends.

Rest In Peace

A private cremation will take place. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday (Feb. 20) at 2pm in Greystones Presbyterian Church (A63RK22). Those who wish to leave a personal message/condolence for the family, please use the "condolences" section below.

Dunphy Gary Lakeside Park, Newbridge - February 15 2026 (suddenly) at Naas Hospital. Predeceased by his father Paddy. Deeply regretted by his son Cameron, mother Rose, brother Patrick, sisters Hannah and Susie, nieces Kelsey and Taylor, grandnephews Layton, Callan and Rian, Aunty Monica, Uncle Matty, Cousins Michael, Jason and Cathy, large extended family, neighbours, colleagues and close friends.

May Gary Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence (W12ND70) from 3:00 with prayers at 7:00. Removal by Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Directors on Thursday Morning at 10:15 to arrive at St. Conleths Parish Church, Newbridge for 11:00 am Mass, Mass can be viewed on https://newbridgeparish.ie/parish-church

Bridget (Bridie) Keogh (née Corcoran)

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridie) KEOGH (née Corcoran), Killeshin, Carlow / Castledermot, Kildare / Killeshin, Laois.

Bridget (Bridie) Keogh (née Corcoran) (Member of The Holy Cross Sodality) of Killeshin, Carlow and formerly of Barnhill, Castledermot, Co Kildare, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on February 17, 2026 at her home.

Beloved wife of the late Patrick, much loved mother of Helen, Alice, Bernard and the late John, adored grandmother of Jane, Pádraic, Brid, Kate, Shauna, Padraic, Justin and Laura, treasured great-grandmother of Saoirse and Páidí and cherished sister of Alice and the late Johney, Mary Ann and Jim.

She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Ger, daughter-in-law Margaret, Bernard’s partner Marie, sister, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and good neighbours.

May Bridie’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq., Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Thursday (February 19th) from 3.30pm concluding with Prayers at 8pm that evening.

Following prayers, Bridie will be brought home to spend her final night surrounded by the comfort of her own home.

Removal from her home on Friday morning at 10.30am to The Holy Cross Church, Killeshin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Daffodil Day.

The death has occurred of Gerry MacCloskey, Kilcullen, Kildare / Ballydehob, Cork / Clifden, Galway.

Gerry MacCloskey, Ballydehob, Co. Cork & Formerly of Clifden and Derry.

Who passed away peacefully on Feb 17 2026 in the loving care of Suncroft Lodge nursing home.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie and sister Eileen, he was a devoted father to Marc and Caragh he will be deeply missed by his sisters Deirdre and Nuala, sister-in-law Clare and his beloved grandchildren Jesse, Luc, Sean and Myla, fondly remembered by his daughter-in-law Hilde, his son-in-law Jonathan and all who knew and loved him.

Josephine (Josie) Reilly (née Tyrrell)
The death has occurred of Josephine (Josie) Reilly (née Tyrrell), Parsonstown, Carbury, Kildare.

Josie passed away (peacefully) in her 99th year at Naas Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Joe and her brothers and sisters.

She will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family: sons Paddy and Mick, sister-in-law Bridget, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Josie Rest in Peace.

Josie will repose at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry (R45 V24) this Thursday from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary at 7pm.

Her Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 11:00am in The Holy Trinity Church, Derrinturn followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. You can also take part in Josie's Funeral Mass via the webstream link below.
