Patrick (Pat) Brennan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Brennan, Belview, Athy, Kildare, R14 X932.

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the palliative care team in Naas General Hospital. Predeceased by his wife May.

Deeply missed by his daughter Mary, grandson Glen, granddaughter Maeve, son-in-law Barry Keatley, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence (R14 X932) on Thursday evening (February 5) from 6pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Friday morning (February 6) to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie

Burial afterwards in St. Michael's New Cemetery, Athy.

House private on Friday morning please.

Elizabeth (Lillias) Burke (née O'Hare)

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Lillias) Burke (née O'Hare), Kill, Kildare / Crumlin, Dublin.

Burke (née O’Hare) Elizabeth (Lillas), February 3 2026, late of Kill, Co Kildare and formerly of Ballyfermot and Crumlin (peacefully) in the wonderful care of staff at Naas General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Edward and devoted mam to Anthony, Carol, Edward, Christine, Valerie, Lisa and the late Jackie.

Elizabeth will be deeply missed by her loving children, sons-in-law, 15 adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Alice, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Sunday from 1pm to 3pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 10am in St Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery arriving for 12 noon.

Vivian Carroll (Ashgrove, Kildangan, Monasterevin and late of Rathangan) - February 3 2026, tragically.

Predeceased by his dad Michael and brother Jason. Sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, children Christian, Sadhbh, Elliott and Roan, mother Cecelia, sister Michelle, brother Patrick, mother-in-law Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives, friends and all of his work colleagues.

Marjorie DEEGAN, (late of Newbridge, Co. Kildare and Ranelagh, Dublin) - January 31 2026 (peacefully) in the tender care of the staff at Mill Lane Nursing Home, Naas.

Beloved and cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes, predeceased by her loving partner Dick, sister Terri, brothers Joseph, Stan and Desmond. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sisters Pauline and Joan, brother Jim, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Friday February 6 from 3pm until 5pm with prayers at 4.30pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10am to arrive at St. Conleth's Parish Church for Mass at 10.30am. Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge.

The death has occurred of Nuala Duffy (née Maguire), Leixlip, Kildare / Cabra, Dublin.

DUFFY Nuala (née Maguire) (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of St. Finbar’s Road, Cabra, Dublin) February 3 2026 (peacefully) at The Hermitage Clinic.

Cherished mother of Andrew and Simon, devoted grandmother to Mary and Teddy, dear sister of Ann, Colette, Helen, Peter and the late Tim and Maureen and her late sister-in-law Evelyn. Sadly missed by her loving sons, sisters, brother, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence on Friday evening (February 6) from 6pm to 8pm. Removal to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip on Saturday morning (February 7) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.
