Sadly missed by her beloved husband Dick, sons Alan, Niall and Rob, daughters-in-law Simone, Sinead, Emma, grandchildren Chloe, Zack, Katie, Jack, Penny and Polly, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Fogarty Frank (Sarsfields Drive, Newbridge, Co. Kildare and late of Fortal, Birr, Co. Offaly) Retired BQMS, The Curragh - January 23 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, mother and father. Sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, daughter Caroline, sons Richard and Mark, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and their partners, great-grandchild, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Monday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm.

Removal by Anderson and Leahy Funeral Directors from his residence on Tuesday morning to arrive at St. Conleth's Parish Church for 11am Mass.

Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge.

Brendan Begley

The death has occurred of Brendan Begley, Naas, Kildare.

Peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his siblings Seamus, Nora, Bridie, Mary and Paud.

Beloved husband to Anna and loving dad of Niall, Eamonn, Colm, Feargal and Gráinne.

Forever loved and sadly missed by his loving wife, children, 12 grandchildren, daughters-in-law Joanne, Jane and Lisa, son-in-law Joe, sister Eileen, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (W91CD0K) on Monday January 26 from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6:30pm.

Funeral on Tuesday January 27 with Requiem Mass at 10am at The Church of Our Lady and Saint David, Naas followed by burial at St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

Peacefully, January 24 2026, at Naas Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Hanora and her brothers Cornelius and Matthew.

Eily will be sadly missed by her sister Tessie, niece Debra, nephews Mark, Declan and James, niece in law Elizabeth, grandnephew Liam, grandnieces Aoibheann, Caoimhe and Niamh, neighbours and friends.

SHEERIN (Nee Cunningham) (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Ballivor, Co. Meath) January 22 2026 (peacefully) surrounded by her family and in the tender loving care of the amazing staff and friends at Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip.

Teresa, beloved wife of the late Maurice, cherished mother of Brian, Donal and Colm, devoted grandmother to Luke, Matthew and Nathan and dear sister of Christopher, Bernadette, Gertie, Claire and the late Mary, Oliver, P.J, Bertie, Vera and Pauline.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Maria, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends R.I.P.

Reposing at Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip on Monday evening (January 26) from 6pm to 8pm.

Removal to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip on Tuesday morning (January 27) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by Cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium.
