A Kildare woman who passed this week has been fondly remembered as 'a lovely kind soul', and 'a lovely lady.'
Kate (Catherine) Carey, Kilcullen, Kildare passed peacefully on November 26 2025 at St Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh, surrounded by her loving family.
Kate is deeply regretted by her loving brothers Paul, Eddie and Martin, sisters Mary, Bridget, Theresa, Rosemary, Martina and Trisha, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
"May Kate Rest In Peace"
Kate will be reposing at her family home (Eircode R56 A271) on Thursday, November 27 from 3pm until 8pm with prayers at 7.30pm.
The removal will take place on Friday morning, November 28 to the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, arriving for 11am funeral mass which may be viewed on https://mcn.live/Camera/church-of-the-sacred-heart-and-st-brigid-kilcullen
followed by burial in St Brigid's Cemetery.

While another mourner wrote: “Sincere condolences to the family of Kate. She welcomed us into Kilcullen and was a lovely lady. Kate will be sadly missed by us . Rest in peace Kate.”
And another added: “My sincere condolences to all the Carey family at this sad time. May Kate rest Peace.”
