David William John Clarke

The death has occurred of David William John Clarke, Ballyshannon House, Carbury, Kildare.

(Peacefully) surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh, Co. Kildare.

Predeceased by his parents Haig and Maud. Very sadly missed by his beloved wife Susan, his loving daughters Rachel and Sarah, son-in-law Tony, grandchildren Charlie and Amelia, sister Valerie, and by his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Service this Friday (November 21) at 1 o'clock in Carbury Parish Church, Carbury Village, followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

House private please.

The death has occurred of Eamonn Cumiskey, Railway Cottages, Sallins, Kildare / Clondalkin, Dublin.

Cumiskey, Eamonn, Railway Cottages, Sallins, Co. Kildare and late of Clondalkin, Dublin 22. November 19 2025, peacefully at home. Beloved son of the late Eddie and Maura and brother of the late Pat.

Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Nuala and Anne, brother-in-law John, nephews Paul, David, Eoin and Mark, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home, The Waterways, Sallins, Co. Kildare, (W91 K6PN) on Thursday evening from 6pm, with concluding prayers at 7pm.

Removal by Oliver Reilly Funeral Directors on Friday at 10.30am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady and the Guardian Angels, Sallins for 11am funeral mass, followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rathangan.

Damien (Damo) Mahady

The death has occurred of Damien (Damo) Mahady, Leixlip, Kildare.

MAHADY, Damien (Damo) (Leixlip, Co. Kildare). Passed away peacefully on November 18 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Beloved son of Jean, much loved brother of Michael, Aishling, Laura and Jan and cherished grandson of the late Ernie and Bridie.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family, brothers-in-law Ray and Alan, sister-in-law Saragh, nieces Tara-Lynn, Olivia and Aoife, nephews Leigh, Aaron and Jake, aunts, uncles, extended family, friends, his wonderful carers, neighbours and his beloved dog Gizmo.

May he rest in heavenly peace.

Reposing at his home on Friday evening (November 21) between 6pm and 8pm.

Removal on Saturday morning (November 22) to the Church of Our Lady’s Nativity, Leixlip arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium (due approximately 12pm).

John (Liam) Berry

The death has occurred of John (Liam) Berry, Confey, Leixlip, Kildare.

Berry (Confey, Leixlip) on November 17 2025 peacefully surrounded by his loving family at James Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Liam, predeceased by his parents Edward and Catherine and brother-in-law Peter.

Liam will forever be remembered by his sister Ann (Keegan), nieces Elizabeth and Catherine, nephew John, grand nephews Eoghan, Lorcan and Luke, nieces Emma Jane, Elsie May, and Sarah, nephews-in-law Brendan and Frank, niece in law Yvonne, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Thursday evening (November 20) between 6pm and 8pm.

Removal on Friday morning (November 21) to the church of St. Charles Borromeo, Confey arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.

Stephen Connaughton N.T.

The death has occurred of Stephen Connaughton N. T., Ardclough, Straffan, Kildare / Batterstown, Meath / Williamstown, Galway.

Late of Moyleggan, Batterstown and Cloomahara, Williamstown.

Peacefully at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. Stephen P. dear husband of Catherine and loving brother of Úna, Michael and Eugene.

Sadly missed by his family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces; Aoife and Ciara, nephews; Brian and Seán, cousins, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at William Ryan & Sons Funeral Home, Church St., Kilcock (W23 XC90 - entrance at Books & Gifts) on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday in the Church of the Assumption Batterstown (A86 DP44) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Maura Egan (née Brennan)

The death has occurred of Maura Egan (née Brennan), Clondalkin, Dublin / Ballycallan, Kilkenny / Kildare.

Egan, (née Brennan) Maura, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 and formerly of Ballycallan, Co. Kilkenny, November 18th 2025, peacefully at St. James's Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents James and Mary, brothers Matty and Denis and sons James & Keith. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband Paul, sons William, Paul, Anthony, Kenneth and John, daughters-in-law Madelyn, Ekaterina, Edel, Karen and Olivia, grandchildren Kelis, Michael, Tíarnah, Darcey, James, Kate, Reeva, Ellis, Kade and Ellie, brothers Liam, Jack and Seamus, sister and best friend Breda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and large circle of friends especially Rosie, Karl, Hallie & Luke.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village, (D22K602) on Thursday (Nov. 20th) from 4pm - 7pm. Removal from her residence by Oliver Reilly Funeral Directors on Friday (Nov. 21st) at approx. 9:15am to arrive at Newlands Cross Crematorium Chapel for a Celebration of Life Service at 10am, followed by cremation.
