The death has occurred of Eileen McWey (née Nugent), Celbridge, Kildare / Lucan, Dublin.
McWEY (née Nugent), Eileen (formerly of Marsden, Ardrass, Celbridge, Co. Kildare and of Esker Abbey, Lucan, Co. Dublin) October 28 2025, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge.
Beloved wife of the late Brendan and much loved mother of Fiona, Rosaleen, Shane, Barry, Deirdre and Mary.
Predeceased by her parents Michael and Christina and her brother Michael. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren Mark, Brian, Conor, Matthew, Claire, Ruth, Luke and Evan, great-grandchildren Quinn, Max and Nolan, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law Charlie, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge on Sunday (November 2) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Straffan on Monday morning (November 3) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Straffan Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to ISPCA.

Beloved son of the late Ellen & Edward Nolan. Sadly missed by his half brother John Brennan (Killane, Ballon, Co. Carlow), his nieces and nephews, his cherished cousins, and all his friends and staff at Re Nua and Balfe Gardens, St Raphaels, Celbridge.

Reposing at Saint Raphael's Chapel, Celbridge on Thursday evening (October 30) between 3 pm and 4.30 pm.
Removal on Friday morning (October 31) to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in The Ward Cemetery.
