Josie Farrell (née Morrissey)

The death has occurred of Josie Farrell (née Morrissey), Foxhill, Athy, Kildare / Ballylinan, Laois.

Josie Farrell (née) Morrissey, Foxhill, Athy, Co. Kildare, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday October 27.

Predeceased by her husband Ned, brother Johnnie, sister Maureen and nephew Declan. Josie will be sadly missed by her sons, Gerry and Eamonn, grandchildren, Jamie, Scott and Emma, great grandchildren Cara and Jake, daughters-in-law Amy and Olivia, sister-in-law Lily, nephew, nieces, neighbours, relatives, extended family and friends.

May Josie Rest in Peace.

Josie will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Wednesday October 29 2025 from 3.30pm until removal at 5.45pm (with recital of the Rosary at 5.15pm) with reception prayers at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy at 6pm.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Thursday 30 in St. Michael’s Parish Church. Followed by burial after in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patricia (Trisha) Kavanagh (née Connolly), Grangewilliam Stud, Maynooth, Kildare.

Kavanagh, (née Connolly), Patricia (Trisha), Grangewilliam Stud and late of Dowdstown, Maynooth, Co. Kildare, October 23 2025, unexpectedly at Naas General Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Breda and Kevin and nephew Jordan Leigh.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband and best friend Norman, son Andrew and his partner Karen, sisters Jacqueline, Nora, Mary Ellen and Susan, brother Edward, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, adored nieces and nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth (W23V99E) on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm, with evening prayers at 7pm.

Removal from Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home on Thursday at approx. 10.30am to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Maynooth for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Laraghbryan Cemetery.

October 27 2025, peacefully at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Mick O’Shaughnessy, Carrigeen, Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow – 24th October 2025 suddenly but peacefully at his residence; predeceased by his loving wife Bridget, sisters Chris and Frances and brothers-in-law Patrick and Johnny.

Sadly missed by his loving children Karen, Elaine, Mark and Michael, sons-in-law James and Ger, daughter-in-law Donna and Mark’s partner Lizzie, brothers Fr. Tony and Raymond, sisters Ann, Rose, Carol and Geraldine, grandchildren Killian, Millie, Lily, Katelyn, Ellie, Leon, Cian, Oisín, Lauren, Ross and Zoey, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at St. Paul’s Oratory, Baltinglass (Eircode W91 Y796) on Wednesday, October 29 from 3pm with removal from there at 7pm sharp for private reposal.

Funeral arriving to St. Joseph’s Church, Baltinglass on Thursday for 12 noon Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest with Bridget in Baltinglass Cemetery.

Kathleen will be sadly missed by her loving husband Tom, son and daughters, Caroline (Mullarkey), Thomas (Whelan) and Ciara (Fennin), grandchildren Clare, Ian, Laura, Colin, Gillian, Jenny, Joseph, Rachel, David and James, great grandchildren Bernard, Páidí and Ollie, sons and daughter-in -law, Sean, Carmel and Michael, sisters Anne and Carmel, brother Pat, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, extended family and wide circle of friends.
