Enfield, Kildare mourns the passing of Laura Casserly

The late Laura Casserly

The community of Enfield, Kildare is mourning the passing of Laura Casserly, who passed on October 14 last.

Laura, late of Enfield and formerly of Leixlip, passed surrounded by her loving family at home.

Laura is the beloved wife of Keith, and the adored mammy to Lily, Kooper and Lottie.

She is also the loving daughter of Joan and the late Tony, cherished sister of Vincent and Sarah.

She will be Sadly missed and forever loved by her husband and children, her family, her mother-in-law Yvonne, father-in-law Thomas, brothers-in-law Dean and Marc, sisters-in-law Emma and Kharia, her favourite nephew Mason, her nanny Bell, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Laura's funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 17 at 10am in Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Captains Hill, Leixlip W23 P735 followed by cremation to the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Sarcoma Cancer Ireland (donate below).

Tributes paid to Laura on RIP.ie include: “Our heartfelt condolences to Keith, Lily, Kooper, Lottie, Joan and family on the passing of Laura. It was truly our pleasure and privilege to have cared for Laura and to get to know both her and the family during her time with us. We are thinking of you all at this difficult time and wishing you comfort and peace in the days ahead. With sincere sympathy, Aishling, Bernie & nursing team Enfield health centre.”

And: “Rest in peace Laura , sending all our love and prayers to Keitho , your three beautiful kids , Vinny and your family. Life can be so incredibly cruel. May your kind ,gentle soul rest now xx”

While another mourner wrote: “We can’t believe, such a lovely lady Laura, RIP may your beautiful soul rest in peace and guide your husband, kids and all family throughout this sad period of their lives. Condolences to you all.”

And another added: “So sad to hear the passing of lovely Laura may her gentle soul rest in peace thinking of all the family and friends at this sad time.”
