Edward (Eddie) Coonan

The death has occurred of Edward (Eddie) Coonan, Clonsast, Kilcock, Kildare.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Edward (Eddie) Coonan. He passed away peacefully in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, after a brief stay following a long illness.

Predeceased by his brother Willie and his brother-in-law Allen.

Beloved husband of Nancy, loving father of Richard and Anne-Marie, father-in-law of Vanessa and Pádraig.

Adored grandfather of Jessica, Isabelle, Dalton and Beth, who were his great joy. Loved by his sister Marie, sister-in-law Mary, and all his extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his family home, Clonsast, Kilcock, (W23 WRW1) on Tuesday October 14 from 4pm to 7pm. 

Removal on Wednesday arriving to St. Coca’s Church, Kilcock, (W23 Y566) for funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed thereafter by burial at Mainham Cemetery, Clongowes, Co. Kildare.

Suggesting donations instead of flowers to Irish Cancer Society.

Ellie (Helen) Darby

The death has occurred of Ellie (Helen) Darby, Athy, Kildare / Rathgar, Dublin.

Ellie (Helen) Darby, passed away on October 3 2025, peacefully surrounded by her family in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Athy.

Predeceased by her parents Tom and Theresa. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister Beatrice, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

A private cremation ceremony has taken place.

Mary Langan (née Teeling)

The death has occurred of Mary Langan (née Teeling), Woodlawn Drive, Clonbullogue, Offaly / Carbury, Kildare.

Mary passed away unexpectedly. Late of Kilshanroe, Carbury, Co.Kildare.

Predeceased by her husband Patsy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family; children Patrick, Jack and Bernie, son-in-law Dane, daughter-in-law Jamie, grandchildren Harvey, Leo, Charlie, Joe and Faye, sisters Bridie, Nuala and Teresa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Austin, nieces, nephews, grandniece Tara, grandnephew Liam, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Mary Rest in Peace.

Mary will repose at Larkin's Funeral Home, Edenderry (R45 VK24) this Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm.

She will repose at her daughter Bernie's home 9 Woodlawn Drive, Clonbullogue (R45 N596) on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.

Her Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 11:00am in The Sacred Heart Church, Clonbullogue followed by burial in Cloncrane cemetery. You can also take part in Mary's Funeral Mass via the webstream link below.

Pat (Archie) Moore

The death has occurred of Pat (Archie) Moore, Killina, Carbury, Kildare, W91 EHD8.

Pat (Archie) Moore, Killina, Carbury, Co. Kildare. Peacefully, 12th October 2025, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Archie will be sadly missed by his loving wife Carmel, children Anthony, Sharon, Peter, Niall, Brian, Brenda, Dermot, Fiona and Conor, sons and daughters in law, his 24 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, brothers Joe, Tom and Michael, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

May Archie Rest In Peace

Reposing at his family home (W91 EHD8) from 12pm on Tuesday and Wednesday with rosary both nights at 7pm. Removal on Thursday (October 16) to arrive at The Church of the Holy Trinity, Derrinturn for requiem mass at 11.30am.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Michael (Mick) Swan

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) SWAN, Leixlip, Kildare.

SWAN (Confey, Leixlip, Co. Kildare) October 13 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the loving care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.

Michael (Mick), devoted husband and best friend of Josephine (Jo), cherished father of Alan, dear father-in-law of Gillian, beloved grandfather of Serena, Seth, Sidney and Sanna and brother of John, Ann and Mary.

Predeceased by his brother-in-law Seamus. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law Dave, Nigel, Terence and Tim, sisters-in-law Pat, Margaret, Hilary and Gabriella, nieces Brenda, Sinead, Elaine, Margaret, Donna, Victoria and Gemma, nephews Michael, Jeffery, Tervin, Andrew, Gary and Neil, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace

Reposing at his Residence on Wednesday evening (October 15) from 5 pm and 7 pm.

Removal on Thursday morning (October 16) to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Confey, Leixlip arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.
