The death has occurred of Lorraine GAFFNEY, Sallins, Kildare / Kill, Kildare.

Gaffney (Sallins and formerly of Kill) – September 11 2025, (surrounded by her loving family), at Naas General Hospital.

Lorraine, beloved mother of Joseph, Jack and Amy; Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, father Leo, mother Carmel, brothers, sister, uncles, aunts, son-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her brother Leon's residence (2912 St. Patrick's Park, Kill, Co. Kildare) on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm with Prayers at 4:30pm.

Removal on Monday to St. Brigid’s Church, Kill arriving for 10am Mass.

Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Corban’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Murphy Brothers Funeral Directors Church Lane, Naas Ph: 045 897397.

The death has occurred of Josephine Gallagher (née Kirwan), Woodlands, Castledermot, Kildare.

Josephine Gallagher (Née Kirwan) Woodlands, Castledermot passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Naas General Hospital on September 10 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Margaret, her brothers and sisters. Josephine will be sadly missed by her husband P.J., son and daughters Joann, Eugene and Vanessa, grandchildren Erin, James, Sadie, Molly, son-in-law Patrick daughter-in-law Louise, brother Frank, sisters Maureen and Kathleen, sister-in-law Biddy, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sheelagh O'Leary (née Mawhinney)

The death has occurred of Sheelagh O’Leary (née Mawhinney), Athy, Kildare.

Sheelagh O’Leary (née Mawhinney) (Athy, Co. Kildare), September 9 2025. Peacefully, in the care of the wonderful staff at St. James' Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents William John and Irene Gertrude, and her brother Alan. Sheelagh will be forever remembered and very sadly missed by her loving son and daughters Ben, Hannah and Beth, by her sisters Anne and Jane, grandchildren, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May She Rest In Peace

A celebration of Sheelagh’s life will take place on Tuesday (September 16th) at 2:15pm in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium followed by cremation. Those who cannot attend Sheelagh’s funeral service in person may view it on the live stream link below.

Frank O'Neill

The death has occurred of Frank O'Neill, Confey, Leixlip, Kildare / Newport, Tipperary.

O'Neill, Frank, Riverforest, Confey, Leixlip, Co. Kildare and late of Newport, Co. Tipperary. September 10 2025, peacefully but unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Tim and Mary, sister Mary and brother Tom.

Beloved and dearest husband of Mary, adored dad and best friend to Fergal, Frank Jnr., Kieran and John.

Cherished grandad to Colum, Lauren, Tadhg, Tom, Maitiú, Clara, Liam, Donncha, Meabh, Seámie and Dan.

Frank will be forever missed and always remembered by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law Gráinne, Helen, Alison and Róisín, brothers Charlie, Tim, Gerard, John and Martin, sisters Margaret, Bernadette and Geraldine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth, Co. Kildare, (W23V99E) on Friday from 4pm - 7pm, with evening prayers at 6:30pm.

Removal by Oliver Reilly's Funeral Directors, from Frank's residence on Saturday morning at approx. 9:30am to arrive at St. Charles de Borromeo Church, Confey for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.
