Kildare Town is mourning the sudden passing of Martin (Marty) Leahy, who passed in Spain surrounded by his loving family on August 27 last.
Martin was from Maryville, Kildare Town, Co Kildare, and formerly Rathangan, Co. Kildare.
Loving father to his daughters and son Martina, Marcella, Emma, Aaron, Shannon and their mother Mary.
Martin will be sadly missed by his loving family, adored grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Martin Rest In Peace.

Tributes paid to Martin this week on RIP.ie include: “Sincere sympathy to the Leahy family on the sad and sudden passing of Martin. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.”
And: “Condolence to the Leahy family on the passing of Marty may he rest in peace.”
While another mourner wrote: “Condolences to all the family on the sad passing of your dad, he was a lovely man, rest in peace Martin.”
And another added: “Deepest condolences Shannon and Emma on the loss of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. RIP.”
Reposing at his residence Maryville, Kildare Town, on Friday (September 5) from 2pm - 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm.
Removal by Glennon's Funeral Directors on Saturday morning to arrive at St. Brigid's Parish Church, Kildare Town for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge.
