The death has occurred of Margaret Byrne (née Doyle), Hallahoise, Castledermot, Kildare.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Byrne, Hallahoise, Castledermot, Co. Kildare who passed away peacefully on August 12 2025 surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff in St. Vincent's Nursing home, Athy.
Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Annie, brothers Tom, Arthur and Jim, sisters Bridget, Patricia and Winnie and her daughter Geraldine Ann and son Peter.
Margaret will be deeply missed by her husband Mick, daughter Ann-Marie and son Michael, son-in-law Richard and daughter-in-law Colette, her adored grandchildren Cian, Shane, Pierce, Gianna, Ciara, Kate, Michael, Cillian, Alex, Cayden, Jayden and her newborn great-grandson Daniel, her brother John, sisters Essie, Maureen and Ann, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Saturday afternoon (August 16) from 2pm until 5pm.
Removal at 5.30pm on Saturday evening to arrive at The Church of the Assumption, Castledermot for funeral prayers at 6pm.
Requiem Mass at 11am on Sunday morning (August 17) see livestream link on http://www.churchservices.tv/Castledermot with burial afterwards in Coltstown Cemetery, Castledermot.

Beloved husband of the late Teresa. Deeply regretted by his loving children Helen, John, Deborah and Frank, sons-in-law Tony and Padraig, daughter-in-law Aisling, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sisters (Rose & Noreen), sisters-in-law (Maura & Betty), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 4pm - 8pm with evening prayers at 7pm. Removal on Monday from his residence at approx. 10:30am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady and St. Joseph, Prosperous for 11am funeral mass, followed by committal service in the Garden Chapel, Mt. Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross at approx 1:30pm.
