The death has occurred of Anne Corcoran (née Redmond), Shanbeg, Rosenallis, Laois / Athy, Kildare.

The death has occurred of Anne Corcoran nee Redmond, Shanbeg, Rosenallis, Co.Laois and formerly of Churchtown, Athy, Co. Kildare on Monday August 4 at Tullamore General Hospital, surrounded by her devoted family.

Predeceased by her husband Pat Corcoran and sadly missed by her children Edel (Lynch), James, Brendan, Patrick, Teresa, Anne Marie (Buggy), Marese (Munnelly) & Breda (Leacy). Sisters Mary Bligh, Bernadette Hurst and Veronica Ashton and brothers the late Ger, John, Pat and Anthony, brother in law Alo and sister in law Anne Ussher and all her 22 treasured grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

John passed away peacefully on 4th August 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the excellent care of the staff of Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.

Deeply regretted by his cherished wife Joan, children Niamh, Anthony, Tara, Claire and Eimear, his grandchildren Peter, Zac, Rachel, Kate and Riley, daughter-in-law Mairéad, sons-in-law Charlie, Seán, Stephen and Claire's partner Gary, sister Shelly, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and his wide circle of extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his brothers Kevin and Terry, sisters Maureen and Aileen and parents Kevin and Nellie.

May he Rest in Peace.

John will repose at his home (R14 CN55) on Wednesday evening, August 6, from 5.00pm with Rosary at 7.30pm.

Removal from his home on Thursday morning, 7th August to arrive at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy, Co. Kildare (R14 CA26) for Requiem Mass at 11am. 

House private Thursday morning please.

Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery, Athy, Co. Kildare (R14 V274).

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association.

Thomas (Tommy) Gordon

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy) Gordon, Dara Park, Newbridge, Kildare / Naas, Kildare.

GORDON Thomas (Tommy), (Dara Park, Newbridge & late of Patrician Avenue, Naas) - 2nd August 2025 (peacefully) at Naas Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Loving husband of the late Isabella (Beatty) and father of the late Ian.

Sadly missed by his sons Steven, Mark and Terry, daughters Elaine, Stephanie, Amy and Christine, and his mother Kathleen (Kate), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace with Beatty.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday from 5pm with prayers at 7.30pm.

Removal on Thursday morning at 10.15am to arrive at the Dominican College Church, Newbridge for 11am Mass.

Peacefully, August 2 2025, at Tallaght Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Wife of the late Tim. Sadly missed by her loving sons and daughters, Sandra, Deirdre, Paul, Brian, Audrey, Kieran, Colm and Timmy, sons and daughters in law, grandchildren, brother John, sister Ron, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Rita Fitzpatrick (née Maher)

The death has occurred of Rita Fitzpatrick (née Maher), Leixlip, Kildare / Drimnagh, Dublin.

Fitzpatrick, Rita (née Maher), (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Drimnagh, Dublin 12) August 2nd, 2025.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the excellent care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice. Beloved wife of Frank and devoted mother of Louise and Gary, a cherished grandmother of Evan and Kane and a much loved mother-in-law of Derek.

Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law, brother-in-law John, sisters-in-law Josephine and Marie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her residence on Wednesday evening (August 6) between 5 pm and 7 pm. A service to celebrate Rita’s life will be held in Newland's Cross Crematorium on Thursday afternoon (August 7) at 2.30 pm.
