The death has occurred of Dermot Flynn, Curragh View, Brownstown, The Curragh, Kildare / Killucan, Westmeath.

FLYNN Dermot, Curragh View, Brownstown, The Curragh and late of Killucan, Co Westmeath. Retd. Military Police Corporal, The Curragh - 15th July 2025 (peacefully) at his home. Sadly missed by his loving wife Jenny, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

May Dermot rest in peace. 

Reposing in Anderson & Leahy’s funeral home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Thursday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm.

Removal on Friday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, The Curragh for 11am Mass which can be viewed on https://www.facebook.com/TheCurraghChurch/

Funeral afterwards to Holy Cross Cemetery, Suncroft.

The death has occurred of Dolores Grier (née Tiernan), Pitchfordstown, Kilcock, Kildare / Mohill, Leitrim.

The death has occurred of Dolores Grier (nee Tiernan) , Pitchfordstown, Kilcock, Co Kildare and formerly of Farnaught PO Mohill, Co. Leitrim.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the team in Connolly Hospital, July 16 2025.

Loving wife of James and adored Mother of Caroline (Ui Riordaín), Declan,Cathal and Aidan. Deeply regretted by her son in law Cillian and daughter in law Caroline, grandchildren Lauryn, Luke, Ava, Soirse, Ciara, Harry and Ella, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Dolores Rest in Peace.

Dolores will be reposing at her family home on Friday from 4.30pm concluding with rosary at 7.30pm.

Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday morning in St Coca's Church, Kilcock at 10am followed by burial afterwards in St Josephs Cemetery.

Patrick (Paddy) Hayde

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Hayde, Naas, Kildare.

Peacefully, at Naas General Hospital, following a short illness.

Predeceased by his sister Vera and brothers Seán, James and Oliver. Beloved husband of Mary and loving dad of David, Patrick and James. Forever loved and dearly missed by his loving wife and sons, brother Christopher, daughters-in-law Pam, Marny and Olive, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas, (Eircode W91 CD0K) on Thursday 17th July from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary Prayers at 6:30pm.

Funeral on Friday July 18 with Requiem Mass at 12 noon in Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, followed by burial at St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

McCormack, Fr. James (Jim), Priest of the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin (Formerly Missionaries of the Sacred Heart).

Retired Parish Priest of Hacketstown Parish and late of Downings, Prosperous, Co. Kildare, July 15 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff of Parke House Nursing Home, Kilcock, Co. Kildare.

Pre-deceased by his loving parents Daniel and Marcella, siblings Anne, Jack, Tommie, Donie and Mick and sister-in-law Pattie.

Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law Mary and Mary, nieces and nephews Marcella, Mary, Neil, Anne, Danny, Jackie, Siobhán, John, Tracey, Stephen and Daniel and their partners, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family, Bishop Denis Nulty and his brother priests in the Kildare and Leighlin Diocese, former parishioners and many good friends.

Fr. Jim will arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Hacketstown, Co. Carlow on Friday evening for 7:30pm vigil prayers. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am, followed by burial in Killybegs Cemetery, Prosperous, Co. Kildare (arriving at approx. 2:15pm.)

Peacefully surrounded by her family in the care of the wonderful staff of Naas General Hospital.

Beloved mother of Barry, Orla and Niamh, and devoted wife to Brian.

Claire will be forever loved and dearly missed by her son and daughters, her husband, daughter-in-law Emer, her adored grandchildren Eimhín, Aleia and Conal, brother Bernard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Claire is now reunited with her beloved parents Bernard and Rose, sister Kathleen and brother Michael.
