Tributes paid to a 'true gentleman' from Kildare

Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a Newbridge, Co Kildare man who passed on Sunday, July 13.

Tom Quinn, Eyre Street, Newbridge, Kildare passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St James Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by his brothers and sister Bobby, Geraldine and Kevin. Sadly missed by his loving sons Keith and Gary and their mother Helen, grandchildren Ava, Lea and Thomas, daughter-in-law Valerie, sister-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family, relatives, and friends.

May Tom Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy’s funeral home, Henry Street, Newbridge, from 4pm on Tuesday with prayers at 7pm.

Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Conleth’s Parish Church, Newbridge for 11am Mass.

Tom’s mass will be livestreamed on https://newbridgeparish.ie/parish-church.

Funeral afterwards to St. Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.

Tributes paid to Tom on RIP.ie include: “My sincere condolences to Gary, Keith and Helen on the death of Tom. A true gentleman. May he rest in peace.”

And: “Our sincere condolences to the Quinn family at this sad time on the passing of Tom. He was a true gentleman. May Tom rest in peace.”

While another mourner wrote: “Sincere condolences to Helen and all the Quinn family on the sad passing of a true gentleman. Rest in peace Tom.”

And another added: “Our sincere sympathy to Gary and all the family on the very sad passing of Tom. He was a thorough gentleman. May he now rest in peace.”
