John Maher

The death has occurred of John Maher, Kilmoney North, Rathangan, Kildare / Portlaoise, Laois.

Formerly of Rathevan, Portlaoise.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of John Maher after a tragic workplace accident on 2nd July 2025.

John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Tracey, sons Seán and Fionn, parents Pat and Mary, brother Liam, sisters Patricia and Eileen, parents in law Theo and Josie, brothers-in-law Tommy, David, John and Ciarán, sisters-in-law Dawn, Natasha, Lorraine and Laura, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, extended family, neighbours, friends and work colleagues.

Pre-deceased by his uncles James and Seán Maher.

Reposing at his family home (R51 W288) from 2pm on Sunday concluding with prayers at 6pm.

Removal by Glennon's Funeral Directors on Monday morning to arrive at The Church of Assumption and St. Patrick, Rathangan for Requiem Mass at 12 o'clock.

Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rathangan.

House private on Sunday after conclusion of prayers and on Monday morning please.

Veronica Oluwakemi Odunuga

The death has occurred of Veronica Oluwakemi Odunuga, Longstone, Blessington Road, Naas, Kildare.

Veronica (Mummy Junior). Formerly of Nigeria. Called To Glory. Suddenly passed away.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Olufemi, children Olufemi Jnr, Ore, Damisi and Iyanu, parents, brothers and sisters, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Glennon's funeral home, 32 Main Street, Newbridge from 4pm on Tuesday (22nd July) until 7pm.
Reposing from 11am on Wednesday (23rd July)

Removal at 1pm to arrive at St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge at approximately 1:45pm.

Rose Heffernan (née Casey)

The death has occurred of Rose Heffernan (née Casey), Ballybryan, Rhode, Offaly, R35AK60 / Caragh, Kildare. Late of Caragh, Co. Kildare.

Peacefully at Home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her daughter Mary, parents Michael and Elizabeth, grandparents John and Roseanna, her brothers and sisters.

Sadly missed by her children John, Padraic, Martin, Joseph, Paul and Roseanna their partners and their father Patrick, her 20 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters Geraldine, Bernadette, Mary and Joan, brother Peter, great aunt Theresa, nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends, and her partner P.J.

May Rose Rest in Peace.

Rose will repose at her Home (Eircode R35 AK60) all day on Friday (4th July) with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday in St. Mary's Church Edenderry at 11am followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. You can take part in Rose's Funeral Mass via the webstream link below.

Charles CJ Masterson

The death has occurred of Charles C.J. Masterson, Ballsbridge, Dublin / Athy, Kildare.

Masterson, Charles C.J. late of Corbally HSE, Athy and Pembroke Road, Dublin (July 3rd 2025) in the excellent care of Prof. Collins and Dr. Corrigan, nursing staff in Tallaght University Hospital. Predeceased by his loved partner Geraldine.

Charles will be sadly missed by his brother Frank, sister Mary, niece Anna Louise and her husband Chris, godson Victor, brother-in-law Jim, sister-in-law Sheena, relations, wide circle of friends and kind neighbours.

Charles will repose at Fanagan's Funeral Directors, 54 Aungier Street, Dublin 2 on Friday (4th July) from 4pm until 6pm. A celebration of Charles life will take place on Saturday (5th July) at 2.30pm in Mount Jerome Crematorium in the Victorian Chapel.

Michael Mulpeter

The death has occurred of Michael Mulpeter, Cloncasson, Clonbullogue, Offaly / Rathangan, Kildare.

Formerly of Sheane, Rathangan County Kildare. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington.

Predeceased by his loving wife Sarah, parents Thomas and Charlotte, brothers Joe and John and infant brother Thomas.

Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Ann, Eileen, Bridget, Charlotte, Olive, Margaret and Bernadette, brothers Billy, Paddy, George and Frank, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Friday evening from 4:30pm with Removal at 6:15pm arriving St Brochan's Church Bracknagh at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Brochan's Cemetery Bracknagh.

The family would like to thank you for your help and understanding at this sad and difficult time.
