Des Cahill

The death has occurred of Des Cahill, Moone, Kildare.

Des Cahill (1st June 2025) (Portugal and formerly of Moone, Co.Kildare).

Peacefully but unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family in Cavan.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Sandra. Des will be very sadly missed by his loving daughters Alison and Bróna, his cherished grandson Jack, sons-in-law David and Stephan, his brother Declan, sister Carol, nieces, nephews, extended family as well as his Portuguese family.

May He Rest in Peace

Reposing at Fanagan's Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road on Monday (June 9th) from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning (June 10th) to the Church of the St. Paul of The Cross, Mount Argus for Funeral Mass at 11:30am followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Egan, Eamonn, Ivy House, Clonfert, Maynooth, Co. Kildare, June 2nd 2025, following a tragic accident at home, deeply regretted by his loving children Eddie, Emma and Ashlie, wife Sarah, brothers Alan, Declan and Fergal, sister Lorraine, partner Katherine, grandson Ethan, extended family, colleagues and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 4pm - 8pm, with evening prayers at 7pm.

Removal from his residence on Monday at approx. 11am to arrive at the Church of St. Patrick and St. Brigid, Clane for 11:30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live in the "webstream" section below.

The death has occurred of Joan LUBE (née Burke), Athgarvan, Newbridge, Kildare / Offaly.

Late of Curragh Edge, Athgarvan, Co Kildare.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the very kind and wonderful care of the staff of Curragh Ward Naas General Hospital and Tallaght Hospital Oncology Dept. 

Joan, beloved wife of Michael & mother of Janice, mother-in-law of David, grandmother of Annabel and Penelope.

Sadly missed by her loving brothers and sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews and dearest friends.

Murphy, Joan (née O’ Grady), Great Connell, Newbridge, & late of Seven Springs, in the wonderful care of the nurses & staff at Oghill nursing home, Monasterevin. 3rd June 2025.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Aidan, daughters Siobhan & Fiona, son-in-law Michael , grandchildren Emma, Abby, Jake, Alex & Luke, sister Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives & friends.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy’s funeral home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Thursday from 5pm with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Friday afternoon at 12.30pm to arrive at St. Conleth’s Parish Church Newbridge for 1pm Mass. Burial afterwards at approx. 3.30pm in Calvary Cemetery, Bunclody, Co. Wexford.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat/Paddy) O'TOOLE, Dunboyne, Meath / Leixlip, Kildare.

O’TOOLE (Dunboyne, Co. Meath and formerly of Spion Kop, Leixlip, Co. Kildare) June 3rd 2025 (suddenly) at his home.

Patrick (Pat/Paddy), beloved husband of Marion (Marie), cherished father of Jason, dear son of the late James and Elizabeth and brother of Barbara, Dolores, Irene, Jacqueline, Anthony, James and the late Christopher.

Sadly missed by his loving extended family, Martin, Stephen and Fran, John, Doreen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. R.I.P.

Removal to S.S. Peter and Paul’s Church, Dunboyne on Friday morning (June 6th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Rooske Lawn Cemetery.
