Marcella Dempsey (née Sweeney)

The death has occurred of Marcella Dempsey (née Sweeney), Doorley Park, Rathangan, Kildare / Athboy, Meath.

Marcella Dempsey née Sweeney, Doorley Park, Rathangan, Co. Kildare. Formerly of St. Patrick's Park, Rathangan and Athboy, Co. Meath.

Peacefully, 27th May 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff at Beechpark Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of The Late Paddy.

Pre-Deceased by her parents and siblings. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Sharon, son in law Paddy, granddaughter Grace, nephew Michael, nieces Angela, Mary, Deirdre and Niamh, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Marcella Rest in Peace.

Reposing at McWeys Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town from 3pm on Thursday evening (29th May) concluding with Rosary at 7pm.

Removal by Glennon's Funeral Directors on Friday morning to arrive at the Church of the Assumption & St. Patrick, Rathangan for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rathangan.

The death has occurred of Orla Geoghegan, Newbridge, Kildare.

Orla Geoghegan, Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Formerly Dublin.

Tragically, 24th May 2025. Daughter of the late Bernadette.

Sadly missed by her loving sons Michael and Dylan, father Fergal, brothers Conor and Noel, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, 32 Main Street, Newbridge from 5pm on Thursday (29th May) with Rosary at 7pm.

Removal on Friday to arrive at St Conleth's Parish Church, Newbridge, for Requiem Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge.

Margaret Havens (née Tynan), St Evin's Park, Monasterevin, Kildare.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Beechpark Nursing Home Kildare.

Dear mother of the late Patrick. Deeply regretted by her beloved husband Liam, daughter Liz, sons Ger, Nigel, Keith and William, son-in-law Peter, daughters-in-law Mairead and Ena, grandchildren Kevin, Daryl, Shauna, Wayne, Brooke and Madison, Amy, Ashling, Chris and Ava, great-grandchildren D.J. and Evan, her brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Our Lady's Chapel, Monasterevin on Thursday evening from 5pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10:45am arriving St Peter and Paul's Church, Monasterevin for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Funeral afterwards to St Evin's Cemetery, Monasterevin.

Peacefully, 26th May 2025, at Naas Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late John. Sadly missed by her loving sons Andrew and James, daughters in law Jen and Barbara, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Sally Young (née Wingfield), Knightsbrook,Glassealy, Ballitore, Kildare.

Late of Knockdrin Castle, Bellair and Glassealy House.

Peacefully on 26th May 2025.

Beloved wife of the late James, half-sister of Philip Wingfield, mother of Nigel, Henry, Jenifer, Belinda and Hugh, mother-in-law to Laurie, Karl and Alasdair, grandmother to Alex, Becca, Nicky Jessie, James, Daniela, Rosanna, Monty, Amelie, Bertie, Izzy, Christopher, Toria, Gus, Ben, Sally and Sophie, great-grandmother to Lily, Natalia, Hamish, Sybil and Aaron. Sadly missed by her family and friends.

Reposing at Knightsbrook on Friday 30th May from 5pm until 8pm.

Funeral Service at The Church Of The Most Holy Trinity, Moone on Saturday 31st May at 12:30pm followed by Burial in the adjoining Churchyard.
