The death has occurred of Sam Dowling, Tullyville, Maddenstown, The Curragh, Kildare.

Sam Dowling, Tullyville, Maddenstown, The Curragh, Co. Kildare. Formerly of White Hall, The Curragh.

Peacefully, May 17 2025, at Naas Hospital surrounded by his loving family and close friends.

Son of the Late Margaret and Sam.

Brother of the Late Jim, Vincent, Dominic and Ann.

Sadly missed by his loving sisters Mary and Carmel, brother in law Liam, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Sam Rest in Peace.

Reposing at McWeys Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town from 5pm on Tuesday with Rosary at 7pm.

Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Suncroft for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery, Suncroft.

The death has occurred of Mary McNamee (née Gorman), Calverstown, Kilcullen, Kildare, R56XR39 / Swinford, Mayo.

Grove Villa, Calverstown, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare and formerly Woods, Midfield, Swinford, Co. Mayo, at Larchfield Park Nursing Home, Naas following a long illness.

Predeceased by her husband Tony, her brother Pat and her parents Anne and Pat. Mary is survived by her sons John, Anthony, Colm and Kevin, and her adored grandchildren Abigail, Grace, Ryan and Darragh. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Christina, Nancy, Margaret, Eileen, Noreen and Siobhán, her brothers Tom, Tony and Michael, daughters in law Marie and Evelyn, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family neighbours and friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her residence (R56 XR39) on Tuesday 20th from 3pm until 8pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral arriving to SS Mary and Laurence Church, Crookstown on Wednesday for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Peggy Meehan (née Moore)

The death has occurred of Peggy Meehan (née Moore), Dara Park, Newbridge, Kildare / Ballickmoyler, Laois.

Peggy Meehan née Moore, Dara Park, Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Formerly of Ballinakill, Ballickmoyler, Co.Laois.

Peacefully, May 18 2025, at Naas Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Wife of The Late Pat.

Sadly missed by her loving son Colum, daughters Hilda and Yvonne, daughter in law Dolores, sons in law Jack and Jer, grandsons Josh, Evan and Finn, sisters Claire and Kathleen, brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and her beloved dog Tucker.

Reposing at her family home from 3pm on Tuesday with Rosary at 7pm.

Tommy O'Toole

The death has occurred of Tommy O'TOOLE, Carlow Town, Carlow / Kilkea, Kildare.

Tommy O’Toole of 4 Oakview, Athy Rd., Carlow and formerly of Kilkea, Co Kildare, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on May 17th 2025, in St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, after a short illness.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Ellen, sister Kathy and brother-in-law Christy.

Beloved partner of Jeannine, much loved father of Joanna and Ger, adored grandfather of Connor, Rohan, and Sarah and cherished brother of Helena, Jennifer, Geraldine and Johnny.

He will be sadly missed by his loving partner, son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law John, Ger’s partner Stacy, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (Eircode R93 C863) on Monday (May 19) from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening.

Removal from there on Tuesday morning at 9.45am in The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Coltstown Cemetery, Castledermot, Co Kildare.

Laura Cully (née James)

The death has occurred of Laura Cully (née James), Tallaght, Dublin / Leixlip, Kildare.

Cully (née James), Laura (Virginia Heights, Tallaght and late of Leixlip, Co. Kildare), May 15 2025 peacefully at Tallaght Hospital.

Beloved wife of James and loving mam to Joe, Rebecca, Gemma, Adam and the late James.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, brothers Dominic and Dave, daughter-in-law Amber, sons-in-law Jonny and Stephen, grandchildren Lily, James, Arlo, Isabel, Ellie and Joshua, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home Monday (19th May) from 3pm to 5pm.

A private (family only) reposal will take place on Tuesday (May 20th) at home. Removal on Wednesday (May 21st) to St. Mary’s Priory, Tallaght Village arriving for 11am Funeral Mass and afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium.
