The sold-out black-tie event, Charlotte’s Christmas Gathering took place on December 5 at Barberstown Castle, Co. Kildare bringing together over 250 guests in a heartfelt evening of remembrance and giving.

The event marked the first anniversary of the passing of Charlotte Byrne, a beloved young girl whose courage and spirit continue to inspire those around her. Charlotte was diagnosed with cancer at just 11 years old. Despite her illness, she was known for her infectious energy, love of life, and unwavering positivity.

Tragically, Charlotte passed away in December 2024. To honour her memory, her family and friends have created Charlotte’s Christmas Gathering—an annual celebration dedicated to raising funds for children and families affected by childhood cancer.
All proceeds from the evening will go directly to Aoibheann’s Pink Tie and Oscar’s Kids, two independent Irish charities that provide crucial support to children battling cancer and their families.
