A Kildare woman has been remembered as a 'true lady' and a 'lovely neighbour.'
Maree Heffernan (née Conroy), Grangebeg, Kildare Town, Kildare and formerly of Cherryville, Kildare, Co Kildare passed peacefully after a short illness at St Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh, surrounded by her loving family.
Maree is predeceased by her loving husband Charlie, brothers Johnny, Dan and her sister Elizabeth.
Deeply regretted by her loving sons Karl and John, her beloved daughter Clare, daughter in law Jenny, adored grandchildren Kara and Charlie, brothers Andrew and Tom, sisters in law Carmel and Phil, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tributes paid this week on RIP.ie included: “Deepest condolences Karl, John and Clare on the passing of your beautiful Mam. She was a true lady and a lovely neighbour. May she RIP.”
And: “To Karl, John and Clare so sorry for the loss of your lovely mother Maree. Many a lovely chat we had with your mother when she came into the shop. One lovely lady. May you rest in peace Mrs Heffernan.”
While another mourner wrote: “Deepest sympathy to Clare, Karl, John and the extended Heffernan and Conroy families on the sad passing of Maree. A beautiful lady with a friendly smile for all. May her gentle soul rest in peace.”
And another added: “Sincere sympathy to Karl,John and Clare together with the Heffernan and Conroy families in your sad loss. Maree was a lovely lady and a completely dedicated wife and mother. May her good and gentle soul rest in eternal peace reunited with Charlie and all her loved ones already departed this life and may God bless and comfort all you who mourn.”

Reposing at McWeys Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town (Eircode: R51 TE20) on Tuesday from 5pm with Rosary at 7pm.
Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Wednesday morning to arrive at The Carmelite Church, Kildare Town, for Requiem Mass at 11:30am.
Burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery, Kildare Town.
