Kildare woman remembered as 'lovely lady' with a 'vibrant personality'

A Kildare woman has been remembered as being a 'lovely lady' with a 'vibrant personality.'

Georgina Clince (née Higgins), Naas, Co Kildare passed on March 5 2025 following a short illness and surrounded by her loving family, at Mill Lane Manor Nursing Home.

Georgina was the beloved wife of the late Padraic and dear mother of Niall, Louise and Padraic.

She is sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, brothers Tommy and John, sisters Elsie, Pat and Juanita, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Maura and Aoife, grandchildren Conor, James, David, Seán, Gráinne, Emily and Fíonn, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tributes paid to Georgina this week included: “Deepest sympathies to Padraic, Niall, Louise and extended family on the death of your dear mother & grandmother. May she rest in peace.”

And: “Condolences to Louise, Niall, Padraic and extended family on the passing of your mum Georgina. May she rest in peace.”

While another mourner wrote: “On behalf of North Kildare FG our condolences to the Clince and Higgins family on the death of Georgina. May she rest in peace.”

And another added: “Deepest sympathy to Louise, the Clince & Higgins families on the passing of Georgina. She was a lovely lady with such a vibrant personality. May she rest in peace.”

Reposing on Thursday March 6 from 5pm to 7pm, with Prayers at 6:30pm at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, Church Lane, Naas, W91 VY71.

Removal on Friday March 7 to the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas arriving for 10am Mass.

Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Corban’s Cemetery.

Family flowers only please.
