Tributes paid to Kildare 'true gent' who passed this week

Tributes have poured in for Raymond (Ray) Lynch, Courtown Bridge, Kilcock, Kildare, who passed this week.

Ray, who passed peacefully but unexpectedly, is deeply regretted by his loving parents Sean and Anna, brothers Keith and Gary, sister Jennifer, sisters-in-law Colette and Linda, brother-in-law Neil, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Ireland and Boston.

May He Rest In Peace.

Tributes and condolences paid to Ray this week included: “Sincere sympathy to the Lynch family on Ray's passing. He was a true gent. Great memories growing up with Ray. May he Rest in Peace.”

And: “Sincere condolences to all of Rays family at this time. Fog was just fantastic fun and so generous with his time for everyone. He will be missed by so many, near and far. RIP.”

While another mourner wrote: “Rip Foggy my old friend a great fella to work with and play football with... a true gentleman may he rest in peace... condolences to all his family.”

And another added: “To all of Ray's family and wide circle of friends thinking of you all and sending sincere sympathies. Ray was such a genuine kind guy who loved having the craic. Have fond memories of the laughs through out the years in Kilcock and Boston! Ray RIP and shine bright.”

Reposing at William Ryan & Sons Funeral Home, Church St., Kilcock on Friday from 5:30pm - 8:30pm.

Removal on Saturday by Oliver Reilly Funeral Directors at 11.30am to arrive in St. Coca’s Church, Kilcock for 12pm funeral mass, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Kilcock.
