Tributes for 'lovely stylish lady' from Kildare who passed this week

Tributes have poured in for a 'lovely stylish lady' from Kildare who sadly passed this week.

Ann Kelly (née Brady), Naas, Kildare / Kill, Kildare, passed away peacefully at home surrouned by her loving family.

Ann was the beloved wife of Andy and loving mam of Grace, Angela, and Fiona and loving sister to the late Betty and Esther.

Tributes paid to Ann this week included: “Sincere sympathy to Andy Grace Angela and Fiona and extended family on the sad passing of Ann. A lovely stylish lady whom I always enjoyed meeting at the whist. Great memories of the times we spent together in Westport. May Ann rest in peace.”

And: “We would like to offer our condolences to the Kelly family on the passing of Ann. She was a lovely lady and may she rest in peace.”

While another mourner wrote: “Deepest sympathies to Andy, Grace, Angela, Fiona & Family following Ann’s passing. Ann was a lovely woman and her loss will be felt by many. I hope and pray that God will comfort you all at this difficult time and may Ann enjoy her reward in Heaven.”

And another added: “Our thoughts and hearts are with you, Angela, Brendan, Boys and extended family on Mum's passing. She leaves behind lovely memories, May she rest in peace.”

Ann will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving husband and children, grandchildren Brian, Tracey, John and Mark, great-grandchildren Leona, Seán, Hamish, Fía and Chloe, sons-in-law Seán and Brendan, sister Helen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (Eircode W91CD0K) on Tuesday 18th February from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6:30pm.

Ann’s Funeral Cortege will leave her house at Pacelli Road at 9:30am on Wednesday morning for Requiem Mass at 10am in the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium at 1pm.

Family flowers only please.

Donations, if desired, to St Brigid’s Hospice, Kildare. Donation box in church.

Ann’s family would like to express their extreme gratitude to the staff of Homecare Solutions, Naas, to Dr. Gerard Fay and to the Palliative Care Team at St Brigid’s Hospice.
