The death has occurred of Jack (John) Sloane, Newtown, Kildare / Enfield, Kildare / Ballymahon, Longford.

The death has occurred of Jack (John) Sloane, Newtown, Enfield, Co Meath, formerly of Ballymahon, Co Longford, February 17 2025.

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Connolly Hospital.

Beloved husband of Breda and adored father of John and Ray, loving grandfather of Keelan, Oisin, Darragh and Abbie. Deeply regretted by his sister Anne and deceased siblings, daughters in law Deirdre and Denise, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, his wonderful neighbours and Friends.

Peacefully at her home. Lynne loving wife of the late John.

The death has occurred of Ann Kelly (née Brady), Naas, Kildare / Kill, Kildare.

Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Andy and loving mam of Grace, Angela and Fiona and loving sister to the late Betty and Esther.

Ann will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving husband and children, grandchildren Brian, Tracey, John and Mark, great-grandchildren Leona, Seán, Hamish, Fía and Chloe, sons-in-law Seán and Brendan, sister Helen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (Eircode W91CD0K) on Tuesday February 18 from 5pm to 7pm with prayers at 6:30pm.

Ann’s Funeral Cortege will leave her house at Pacelli Road at 9:30am on Wednesday morning for Requiem Mass at 10am in the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium at 1pm.

Family flowers only please.

Donations, if desired, to St Brigid’s Hospice, Kildare. Donation box in church.

Ann’s family would like to express their extreme gratitude to the staff of Homecare Solutions, Naas, to Dr. Gerard Fay and to the Palliative Care Team at St Brigid’s Hospice.

Eithne Loughran (née Bennett)

The death has occurred of Eithne Loughran (née Bennett), Naas, Kildare.

Peacefully, after a long illness, at Craddock House Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of John and loving mam of Jennifer, C.J., Conor and Claire.

Eithne will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving husband and children, grandchildren Fionn, Lorcan, Fiadh and Emme, daughter-in-law Caroline, son-in-law John, Conor’s partner Julian, sisters Annette and Kitty, brothers Paddy and Richard, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Harry Thorpe, Piercetown, Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Formerly Marina Court, Athy, Co. Kildare. Peacefully, February 15 2025, at home.

Son of the late Jack. Sadly missed by his loving mother Anne, siblings Marie, Johnny, Josie, Eric, Martina and Jeremy, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Glennons Funeral Home, 32 Main Street, Newbridge from 5pm on Wednesday (February 19) concluding with rosary at 7pm.

Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St Conleth's Parish Church, Newbridge, for requiem mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery, Newbridge. Harry's funeral mass will be live-streamed and can be viewed on the webstream link below.
