Two more national titles for Kildare’s Ryan

On form world number one track cyclist and Johnstownbridge woman Caroline Ryan added two more national titles to her name at the weekend after she won two out of the three races she entered.

On form world number one track cyclist and Johnstownbridge woman Caroline Ryan added two more national titles to her name at the weekend after she won two out of the three races she entered.

She is now the national champion in Individual Pursuit and the Scratch Race.

She also won bronze in the 500 metre Time Trial.

The latest results can be added to the several national titles she won this year, including National Omnium Champion and National Road Time Trial Champion

She is also holds five national records, including the National 10 Mile Time Trial Record, the 3km Individual Pursuit (Indoor and Outdoor), the indoor and outdoor 3km Team Pursuit titles.

She is also number one in the world in the Individual Pursuit.

A former rower, she only started cycling competitively in 2009.
