The 2012 Leinster Community Games Finals took place in sunny Carlow at the weekend. Any fears of our Irish weather spoiling a wonderful day of sporting activity was quickly dispelled as the teams arrived at the various venues to compete for a place in the Hse National Finals in August. Kildare were there in numbers, competing in seventeen of the thirty events taking place.
In all seven titles were won with all winners booking their place in the Community Games All Ireland finals which take place in Athlone in August.
