€3m works completed at Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge

The new gardens at Hotel Keadeen

The O’Loughlin family run, four-star Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge has just completed a €3m renovation programme.

It began 18 months ago when a new honeymoon suite was created, and many of the bedrooms completely refreshed. The entrance avenue was also redesigned and replanted, and a new wedding garden created.

The latest addition is The Atrium Lounge & Cocktail Bar - a contemporary drawing room in the heart of the hotel. The main hotel restaurant has also been revamped.

Founded by Joe and Rose O’Loughlin in 1970, Rose now runs the hotel with her two daughters, Kate and Anna and her son Joseph.

The eight-acre manicured gardens contain a huge array of flowers gathered from all over the world and from every corner of Ireland.

Head Chef Kevin Curran oversees the cuisine in Saddlers Bar & Bistro and the Bay Leaf Restaurant, the latter of which is the fine dining restaurant.

The hotel also includes a health club, gym, swimming pool and beauty rooms.
