Herd hits an extra time beauty to send KDUL through to final

Kildare defeated Donegal Schoolboys 3-2 after extra time in the Under 16 Inter League semi final played in Naas on Saturday and in doing so qualified to meet Cork in the Under 16 All Ireland final to be played on Sunday 27th May in Cahir Park Tipperary, writes PAT McNALLY.

Barnhall Rovers lost a chance to join Coill Dubh AFC and Redwood FC at the summit of the Cooks Cabin Division 2 when they could only manage a scoreless draw with Clane United’s second string at Doctors Road on Sunday last, writes Michael Casey.

Victory earns Naas Premier Division title

Naas AFC came into this game knowing that a win would guarantee them the Under 12 Premier Division trophy and the their first trophy in the Kildare and District Underage League, writes Pat McNally.

With league leaders Coill Dubh suffering an unexpected defeat at the hands of Straffan this win sees Redwood move into second place just a point adrift of the leaders and with a game in hard, writes Michael Casey.

Cup joy for Monread

This was a day of firsts. The first cup to be won this year in the Kildare and District Underage League and this was the first ever trophy for Monread FC in their first season in the KDUL, writes Pat McNally.
