Castledermot too strong for Kilcullen in MFC Div 3 final

Tadhg Gorman hits top form for the winners
Tadhg O’Gorman chalked up 3-7 to help propel Castledermot to the 2026 Minor Football Summer League Division 3 title at the expense of hosts, Kilcullen on Wednesday night.
Two of those three goals came in the opening half, the second just ahead of the break to help see the visitors open up a 2-5 to 0-6 lead.
However, a goal from Isaac Cramer, followed by six points without reply, that included two doubles from Turlough Donnelly, hauled Kilcullen back into a one-point lead with just four minutes of regulation time remaining.
But there was to be yet another twist, as Castledermot levelled through O’Gorman before continuing to retake the lead in injury time as Greg Kelly despatched shots over the bar from both sides of the arc.
