Barberstown Castle invites couples to experience their dream wedding

For couples dreaming of a wedding filled with history, romance and a little castle magic, Barberstown Castle will host its Wedding Open Day & Experience on Sunday, 27th September from 12 noon to 4pm.
Set amid 20 acres of landscaped gardens in Straffan, Co. Kildare, the historic four-star castle will open its doors to give couples the opportunity to experience the venue beautifully dressed for a wedding day.
Guests can explore the 16th-century Banqueting Hall, Medieval Courtyard, Gothic gazebo and gardens, beautiful bridal suite, traditional pub, restaurants as well as meet Barberstown Castle’s dedicated wedding team and discuss how their own celebration could take shape.
With a strict one-wedding-a-day policy, Barberstown Castle offers couples complete focus on their celebration, with weddings ranging from intimate gatherings to larger receptions of up to 280 guests.
The castle also lends itself beautifully to extended celebrations, from pre-wedding gatherings in the Castle Keep to relaxed post-wedding events.
Couples attending the showcase can wander through the reception spaces, view ceremony settings, explore the grounds and bedrooms and meet the team who will guide them through every detail of planning their day.
