Kildare St Patrick's Day Parade: Clane's week of Paddy's fun

Musician Des Hopkins will be the Grand Marshall of the Clane St Patrick's Day parade

Clane has had a number of events already and more are lined up for every age group, Mary Dunne, Festival Organiser, told the Leinster Leader.

Its parade will start at 3pm on St Patrick’s Day from the Clane Business Park on the Kilcock road. It will end at Clane GAA.

A number of events have already taken place.

This Friday, March 16, a ceili with the Kilfenora Ceili Band will take place in Clane GAA at 9.00pm.

This Saturday coming, March 17, the parade will take place at 3.00 pm.  Musician, Des Hopkins, will be the Grand Marshall for the event.The following day the Awards and 60s Reunion Night will take place at the Westgrove Hotel at 7.30pm.

The theme of the Clane St Patrick’s Festival this year will be The Swinging Sixties.
