Fun at a previous St Patrick's Day Parade in Athy
Athy’s 2018 St Patrick’s Day Parade will be bigger and brighter than ever.
The Athy Town Promoters Group is calling on all community, sporting and cultural organisations in the town and surrounding areas to join them to help showcase the best South Kildare has to offer.
In addition, a special appeal is being made to local businesses to take part and join in the town’s annual parade, which attracts a lot of visitors for one of the region’s best family events.
The 2018 Grand Marshalls for the Athy Parade will be Roy Sheahan and Eric Donovan from St Michaels Boxing Club.
The parade will start at 1.45pm.
And this year’s theme is ‘Love Athy’.
