At last year's Monasterevin parade were the 25th Kildangan Scout Group, Nicole Murtagh, Nikki Farrell, Celine Kenny, Siobhan Leonard, Leonie Dunne, Deborah Morgan, Monasterevin.
The St Patricks Day Festival in Monasterevin will kick off at 2pm sharp from the canal on Saturday next, March 17 — however festivities will start at 12 with a dog show in the community centre.
The Tea Cup cafe will run there all day with proceeds going to the St Patricks Day committee and there will be a baby show at 1pm.
DJ Murt will be playing tunes from 1.30pm onwards and there will be face painting as well as a special appearance by Paw Patrol characters.
