Meteorologist Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather shared a video of some snowfall across his social media channels.
Alan said the video was captured this morning (January 29) 'on high ground above Carlow.'
Meanwhile, it was 'heavy rain and sleet at lower levels.'
It is expected that overnight rain will linger across the country this morning, with lows of -2C.
